Stronger Systems, Healthier Futures in Uganda

In Uganda, the need for healthcare remains urgent—but so does the progress.
This year, our team expanded services across the country, adding surgical care, emergency interventions, and advanced diagnostics to more of our facilities. At our Masindi and Bweyale clinics, over 300,000 patients now have access to reliable, affordable care—care that’s close to home, care that’s saving lives.
But these clinics aren’t just growing in size—they’re growing in strength.
Nearly all of our facilities in Uganda are now covering their own operating costs, a milestone that ensures families will continue to find care today, tomorrow, and for years to come.
Behind every number is a life transformed.
Like the mother who delivered her baby safely after months of prenatal care at one of our facilities—care she never had access to before.
Or the rural patient who no longer had to endure a six-hour trip to the capital for surgery—because now, they could find the help they needed right in their own community.
These stories are why we do this work.
They remind us that progress isn’t just measured in patient volumes or revenue—it’s measured in moments of relief, in lives made healthier, in communities growing stronger together.
