34 Weeks, No Incubator: A Premature Baby's Fight to Survive

Eunice came to Bweyale at 34 weeks pregnant and in active labor. Her baby was born weak, motionless, and not breathing.

The midwife immediately called for help and began resuscitation. With no incubator available, kangaroo mother care kept the baby warm. The baby was also placed on oxygen for five days and given feeding tube support.

Both mother and baby were treated and discharged in good condition. They remain grateful for the care that saved two lives.
