Mission Multiplied: Seacoast Church + OneWorld Health

When Seacoast Church first partnered with OneWorld Health in 2009, it wasn’t just about sending volunteers—it was about answering a calling.
That first trip to Uganda became a defining moment. Church members returned changed, not only by the people they met, but by the vision they saw: a model of sustainable, life-saving healthcare that empowered local communities. Over the last 13 years, Seacoast Church has been a faithful partner in that vision, helping to shape it, grow it, and carry it further than ever imagined.
Faith in Action
Seacoast’s partnership has mobilized more than 100 volunteers to serve in Uganda, Nicaragua, and Honduras. Through their missions ministry, Seacoast members have provided hands-on care and deep encouragement to our in-country teams. Behind the scenes, their leadership has also advised our board—bringing a faith-centered lens to the growth of our work.
But this partnership isn’t just about trips. It’s about trust. And over the years, Seacoast has invested more than $800,000 into expanding access to healthcare for patients who might otherwise go without. Their support has helped us grow from one facility in Masindi to 17 self-sustaining clinics across three countries—serving over 700,000 patients with care that’s both excellent and affordable.
“Seacoast Church has modeled what it means to serve sacrificially and give generously. They haven’t just joined our mission—they’ve multiplied it.”
— Michael O’Neal, Executive Director, OneWorld Health
“We believe the Church is called to bring hope and healing to the world—and our partnership with OneWorld Health allows us to do just that in a sustainable, Christ-centered way.”
— Jason Surratt, Missions Pastor, Seacoast Church
A Foundation for More
This long-term partnership has done more than fund care—it has laid the groundwork for future faith partnerships. Because of Seacoast’s early belief in our mission, other churches now see what’s possible when the body of Christ works together to bring healing to the world.
We’re grateful for 13 years of shared service—and excited for what’s ahead.
